An English Concertina Workshop
I am available for workshops or individual teaching in music based on the accordion or concertina (English or Anglo). My main experience covers folk music of England and Scotland but I am also often booked to provide courses in Welsh and International folk dance music. Over the years I have played in many styles so my repetoire stretches over several other dance styles and singing from which I can help to explain how to make the music exciting from a soloist standpoint and supportive within an ensemble. When appropriate, I can provide music theory to back up the practical work.

Depending on the requirements, I can prepare music for distribution ahead of the workshop so that participants have plenty of time to familiarise themselves with the music. I can work with course organisers to make the music available as a download from this site so that accessibility can be tracked and managed.
